The spa shell arrives pre-plumbed with labeled stub out points, insulated, and sitting upon a support frame. Simply place the spa on a suitable support pad which may be prepared for various height elevations of the spa above the finished floor, totally recessed into the floor, or on-grade. Then, position the Brad-Pack equipment skid in the mechanical room. The plumber will have run between the spa and the mechanical room the proper number and size of pipes for the spa that was ordered. Now, simply connect those pipes to the spa and Brad-Pack stubs. Draining the spa is accomplished by pumping the water and discharging to a suitable waste via a valve on the discharge side of the filter pump. Fresh water fill is usually achieved with a spout/spigot with an air gap over the spa. Fill may also be piped into the spa pipes through an appropriate back flow preventer. The electrician will need to run power to the disconnects on the Brad-Pack and bond the entire system, including the spa and handrail. The jets are pneumatically activated and controlled by an electronic timer. The vinyl air tube for this switch, the bonding wire, and any spa light wires will need to be run in a conduit. We want your experience to be a good one. We have built a world-class spa and spent considerable time in the design and engineering so that your job will be easier.   |
